Women’s Hostel
SSV College Women’s Hostel is an integral part of the college campus. The ladies’ hostel has a total of 30 rooms in its four blocks. Rooms allotted
cannot be changed without approval. Common areas such as dining, common room, washrooms, lobby for recreation (Basketball practice nets & Badminton courts, Caroms, Table tennis & Chess), browsing, gymnasium etc. are provided separately for girls.
Women's Hostel General Rules

The final decision regarding the running of the college hostel rests with the principal

All hostel inmates are bound to follow the rules of the hostel

All inmates shall treat hostel staff and other residents with courtesy.

The final decision regarding admission to the hostel will be with the Principal/Hostel Ward

The applicable study time in the hostel is from 5.30 pm to 10 pm.

No one shall be admitted to the hostel without the written permission of the Warden/Principal.

All students must enter the hostel before 5.30 pm. Those arriving late must take prior written permission.

Mobile phone can be used in the hostel from 5 pm to 6.30 pm subject to conditions.

The Warden/Principal shall have the authority to decide who will be accommodated in each room and the students shall not have the opportunity to decide on roommates.

It is the responsibility of the occupants of each room to keep it clean and tidy and damages will be charged to the occupants.

Those who wish to stay in the college hostel during vacations must take written permission in advance.

All dues must be paid prior to termination of hostel stay.

The Warden/Principal shall have the power to expel the students from the hostel based on their attendance, academic performance and discipline in the college.

According to Govt order no. 1157/12/86 H. Edn, ragging is prohibited in colleges and affiliated institutions and any such complaint against any person shall be referred to the authorities as per law and expulsion from the hostel and college till the decision is taken.

Only those areas in the hostel which are common and are allotted to each are allowed. Entering other rooms without permission and inviting others to one's room is considered as violation of discipline.

Suggestions and complaints for students may be made in writing to the Warden.

It is the responsibility of each individual to keep their personal belongings and the college or hostel authorities will be responsible if they are lost.

No one is allowed to stay in the hostel during class hours without the written permission of the warden.

Students moving out of the college campus must obtain written permission and enter it in the movement register.
